The third period of powerful ventral control which was known as the New Kingdom was focused on the Southern Capital of Thebes In the present day we can still respect the Monuments which these great Kingdoms established, including many Monuments in and around Ancient Thebes which is Modern Luxor, plus the amazing Pyramids in Cairo. These famous Ancient Sites were the freat burial sites of the Pharaohs that built and kept on building. Ancient Egypt which was under their control through the Centuries were not restricted to just these Sites. Valley of the Kings. The amazing Site of the Valley of the Kings lies on the West Bank of the River Nile near Luxor. The Valley consists of the most breathtaking ruins and the beautiful Tombs of the ancient Kings and Pharaohs of Egypt. The location of the Valley makes it one of the most sought after Sites for exploring Ancient Egyptian History, and archaeologists have been combing this Site for centuries and still until the present day more continues to astonish them. With the amazing discoveries within the Valley of the kings has kept archeologists occupied for approx.. two centuries. If every Tomb were open for the Visitors it would be virtually impossible to actually visit them all. Karnak. Karnak Temples are separated into three Sections, which consists of the Precinct of Amun, the Precinct of Mut, and the Precinct of Montu, although for many visitors they find that the precinct of Amun is enough as it is the largest of the three sections. The layout of the Temple is very complicated and over shadows every other site that you will visit in Egypt as it is a vast Ancient Temple. The precinct of Amun consists of the most famous sections of the Karnak Complex, which includes the Great hypostyle Hall. The Hall which contains an impressive 134 Huge Columns is one of the most spectacular places in Egypt. Karnak has a fantastic Sound and Light Shoe which is offered in several different languages like all of the Great sites in Egypt especially that of the Great Giza Pyramids in Cairo.
