Who built the First Pyramid in Egypt
The Step Pyramid of Djoser is the Oldest known Stone Building and the first Royal Tomb in History, built between two thousand seven hundred and thirty seven – two thousand seven hundred and seventeen BC. Located in Saqqara South of Giza and a mile from the Saqqara Cliff. It was originally designed as a Tomb for the Pharaoh Djoser by Vizier Imhotep in the form of six terraces above a Tunnel descending to the Burial Site, also the Pyramid continued through six changes in different lay outs before achieving its current form. The construction process included the building of Royal Tombs, a Funerary Temple, and a group of Catacombs dedicated to allocating food and grain at the time. In 1821 the Italian Engineer, Girollano Segato discovered the opening to the Step Pyramid of Djoser and the corridors, also at the same time the remains of the Mummy of King Dojser were found from a broken skull and foot after removing dust and sand from the top of the Pyramid.
