If you are longing to be in a beautiful location plus gaining the most interesting knowledge of Egyptian Temples then visit the fabulous Philea Temple . The Temple is on an Island located on the amazing River Nile in Aswan. Built in honor of the Goddess Isis by her husband Osiris King of Egypt. The aincent legend goes that Osiris was killed by his brother Seth and his body parts distribiuted through Egypt, Isis his wife pulled all back together and brought him back to life. So a visit to this beautiful Temple is a must.

Unfinished Oblisk ⏱ 30 Minutes

Seeing is believing!!! So whilst you are in Aswan you must visit the amazing Unfinished Oblisk. This remarkable Stone began work during the reign of Queen Hatchepsut who wished to make a gift of the Oblisk to the God Amun. So the Stone which had to be cut from the stone in the Mountains in Aswan and moved to Karnak Temples in Luxor. Scientisits even to this day are baffled of how the Ancient Egyptians transported the huge heavy stones on the Nile of which some weighed 12 tons and even more.

Be prepared to witness an Engineering Miracle. The High Dam in Aswan is truly a sight to behold. It was constructed to stop flooding all through Egypt. From the top of the High Dam you can gaze across Lake Nasser which was the World s largest artificial Lake and see Kalabsha Temple.
